Our August meeting saw the induction of 4 new members. Martin introduced Dave & Pat Cox before Maureen in turn welcomed Joan & Brian Tozer, reminding members that on a trip in 2012 we had been welcomed by the Tozers, who took us for a tour of their delightful Lanigan Abbey. The induction was formalised when John Smit read the Probus introduction and welcome.

Introduced by Di, Pharmacist Joe Madden kept members both informed with a session answering the validity or otherwise of commonly held beliefs.

The Members Interest today saw Betty Loiterton present a display of the tiny sewing machines she had collected over the years.
