The meeting was slightly down on numbers but with Elaine Baker providing the music, for both the National Anthem and Happy Birthdays it was off to a great start. New member Lyn Muller read the Probus prayer emphasising our committment to caring for our fellow members.
Following afternoon tea, Bruce McAlister introduced Sylvia Mulholland, who told of her ancestors, the Nixons, leaving Ireland and pursuing various occupations with the name Nixon's Engineering a well known Wagga enterprise. On behalf of the members, Keith Beck thanked Sylvia and presented her with a gift of appreciation, supported by applause.
